I am so so thankful for SOD! I have been using the daily planner for a few years now. In using SOD it has helped to breath the peace, strength of scripture in to the activities, triumphs & hardships of my husband, kids and me. This humble guide has brought awareness of the expectant hope that is all around on a daily basis. Anyone who walking their inner journey with the Lord needs to get this tool to help guide their way!

The SOD daily planner has been a steady companion through an unsteady year, and has provided daily prompts to return to tried and true practices that support spiritual growth. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to create or reinforce habits on a daily/weekly/seasonal rhythm. There's also white space that's helpful for a bit of journaling and reflection.
I love my Daily Planner! I've gone thru so many planners trying to find what Sacred Ordinary Days provides. As someone who is prone to get off track (and somewhat unmotivated to get things done), this planner helps me to stay focused. Anyone can make a to-do list. But the key to staying focused for me is knowing there's a reward or rest at the end of it. Genius! This is why the best feature of the planner is the Priorities-Cue-Rest/Delight section. I also absolutely love that they've built in a weekly examen to help reflect and reset. So vital to remain grounded!
This planner was so helpful in reorienting my thinking and rhythms, and I loved the inclusion of the Daily Office, Church calendar items, and space for priorities and cues. An amazing resource in viewing life holistically, instead of as a list of to-do items.
Several years ago, I read an article that identified the six activities of people who "flourish" as: helping others; interacting with others; being intentional about playing, learning, and exercise; and engaging in some kind of spiritual practice. As I sit with my Sabbath page open at the beginning of the week, I make notes - How will I be serving / volunteering this week? With whom will I play? From what book will I learn? I begin each morning of the week in prayer (using the BCP readings as a guide), and then I record the six activities, triple-spaced, in the lined part of the planner. Each evening, I record in the ways I "flourished" that day by writing down how I helped, with whom I interacted, etc. When the Sabbath arrives again, I reflect on how I "flourished" (and failed to) during the past week, and I reset by making notes about how I will "flourish" in the week ahead.
This is my second year using the daily planner. I currently use mine for planning out Bible study, for writing down things I am praying for and practicing a memory verse. This helps me focus on what is truly important for the day and for God's plans, not my own.
This is such a thoughtfully designed resource. The focus on honoring rest and Sabbath has been particularly helpful. I also appreciate the ideas for more intentionally following the liturgical year.
