I have purchased these several times as gifts for friends and family, and they are well-loved! Beautiful and meaningful. I plan to purchase more in the future.
Recipient loved it. I appreciated the ability to include a gift note!
I have a wall display where I place a ceramic cross and a little box that I keep mementos and it has a horizontal bar underneath the shelf. I am not sure what it's really for, but when I saw these towels I finally realized what I could hang there. I got the "Come Thou Fount" one to start with and am loving it, I plan on collecting others so I can change them out with the seasons.
I have the liturgy for morning coffee print, and it is such a lovely thing to see every morning. I had a spare frame that I put it in, and you can see it is clearly high quality (even without the frame). Highly recommend these prints for anyone who might need a little mindfulness in the "everyday" parts of life!
This looks very nice and is well made. Framed and hung it fits in with a lot of different styles.
Giving to two of my wonderful students for graduation with notations for favorite prayers.
This is a lovely book - the liturgies are poetic and there are so many different prayers for all different occasions. I got this to give as a gift but ended up looking through it myself before giving it and am tempted to buy myself a copy as well! I opted for the smaller size and really like it - the pages feel nice, the soft cover gives without feeling flimsy, and as weird as it may sound it's just a pleasant experience holding the book.
This is work that has been done by Black women, and while Ashley Hales has a PhD and great understanding, I do wonder how much of this work is more presentable and marketable because she is white. There is definitely a discussion between suburb comfort and suburb walls up to ensure a false safety for whitness.
A design qualm: there are pages where there are already things in the margins that prevent note-making, on some pages.
