Sacred Ordinary Days is a liturgical planner that combines a number of transformational tools, which have aided the spiritual journey of many Christians, including ours. Inside you will find resources and reflections for the beginner and the master alike on...
- the Lectionary (we draw from the Revised Common Lectionary)
- the Seasons and Holy Days of the Liturgical Calendar, also called the Christian Calendar or the Church Calendar
- the practice of crafting a “Rule of Life”
- a Liturgical Wheel Calendar, redesigned to be elegantly simple and clear
- a Prayer Labyrinth to “walk” with your finger instead of your feet, also called a Finger Labyrinth
Along with these time-tested tools for spiritual formation, our planner also incorporates layouts designed for productivity and focus.
Each week includes
- a Weekly Examen page
- a Sabbath & Sunday page
- the Monday - Wednesday page
- the Thursday - Saturday page
The planner will be a faithful guide and companion through all of the seasons in the liturgical year. We'll walk with you through Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost. At the beginning of each season there are four pages that include seasonal art, resources (symbols, decorations, articles, book references, etc.), plus space to envision how you'd like to embody this season in the six areas of your life and then reflect and reset for how you'd like to embody the season next time.

Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
What is the difference between the Academic Year Planner and the Liturgical Year Planner?
The Academic year planner and Liturgical year planners just have different start dates. All Sacred Ordinary Days planners are "liturgical," follow the seasons of Church Year, and including lectionary readings.
The 2016 | 2017 Academic Year Daily Planner began on August 1st, 2016 and ends on July 31th, 2017. This planner may be a better fit for students, parents, teachers, professors and those whose lives are scheduled around the school calendar.
The 2017 | Liturgical Year A Daily Planner and the new 2017 | Liturgical Year A Weekly Planner begin on November 27th, 2016 at the start of Advent and end on December 2nd, 2017, the day before Advent begins. The 2017 planners have a slightly updated interior layouts, which you can see by downloading the PDF samples.
Is the weekly version still printed on the thicker 60lb paper and does the wire-o binding allow it to lie semi flat? Thanks!
The 2017 Liturgical Weekly Planner is printed on 60lb paper just like the 2017 Liturgical Daily Planner. The semi-concealed wiro-binding will allow the cover to fold back on itself and lay completely flat.
Will there be a weekly version of the academic year planner in the future?
Yes. Going forward our plan is to always offer a daily and weekly liturgical planner, with both starting in the summer for our Academic collection and at Advent for our Liturgical collection.
Are there any plans to send a bulk order to the UK to reduce postage costs for individuals?
Bulk order pricing does apply to international orders. This will help offset the extra shipping cost. In the long term we plan to develop international distribution partnerships, but we are not there yet.
What is the difference between bound and unbound?
The unbound versions of our weekly and daily planners come from the same production line, and are pulled before binding. All the pages are loose and are not punched. All the pages are shrinkwrapped together. This will allow you to bind in your prefered method.
