These Open and Unafraid Prayer Cards are designed to provide help to individuals, families, small groups and communities who wish to pray in light of the Book of Psalms.
Each 4x6 card includes an image on one side, corresponding to a specific chapter in the book, Open and Unafraid: The Psalms as a Guide to Life, and text on the other: a passage from the Psalms, three questions for reflection, and a prayer.
Each original watercolor illustration corresponds to a specific theme in the Psalms and the text on the back offers an opportunity to reflect on one's life in the light of the good news that we discover in the Psalms.
Each pack includes 15 cards with artwork by Phaedra Taylor.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR
W. David O. Taylor is an Anglican priest, and Assistant Professor of Theology and Culture and the Director of Brehm Texas. He is the author of Glimpses of the New Creation: Worship and the Formative Power of the Arts and editor of For the Beauty of the Church: Casting a Vision for the Arts. He has written for The Washington Post, Image Journal, Christ & Pop Culture, and Christianity Today, among other publications. Phaedra Taylor is a visual artist interested in ideas of play, innocence, memory, and belonging. She completed her BFA in sculpture at the University of North Texas in sculpture, where she was also awarded the Most Outstanding Student in the Visual Arts award. Her work has been exhibited in juried, group, and solo exhibitions, and is held in private collections of various individuals around the globe. She is also involved in creating commissioned liturgical works for church communities and personal devotional pieces for individuals to use as part of their spiritual practice.
