Kindred Tea Time: Quarantine

If we could sit down with you over a cup of tea (or coffee) each week, these are the tools and treasures we’d be excited to share with you. We’ll ask a question, share our answers, then invite you to join and share your own tools and treasures on a teatime break.

What's something that is helping you cope with quarantine or social distancing?

This could be a prayer, a product, a blogger, a book, a practice...

"Handle With Care" by...

"I've been taking the quarantine time to get back into a habit at reading. My first book was "Handle With Care" by Lore Ferguson Wilbert - a wonderful read!"

Enjoying the Outdoors

"With all our typical places to go closing out of caution, we have spent more time taking walks and bike rides at the park and getting creative with all the things to do and games to play in our backyard - dance parties included!"

Eddy Insulated Water Bottle

"Everything feels out of my control now, but I know something that I can control is my personal hydration. I've been able to stay hydrated with this water bottle that doesn't sweat if you fill it with ice like I do!"

Hanging up artwork from...

"Hanging up all our artwork! I just got several new pieces from Juniper Print Shop to add to our walls."

FaceTime

"My mom (in Texas) was able to entertain my daughter (in North Carolina) over the phone while I wrapped up a meeting. (Also, it's great to be able to stay connected with family and friends despite geographic and social distance.)"
