The SOD planner currently comes in two options: the liturgical year edition and the academic year edition. The content of each of the Sacred Ordinary Days planner editions for a year is exactly the same. The only difference is the starting and ending date.
Our liturgical year editions follow the dates of the liturgical calendar. They range from the beginning of Advent through the end of the following calendar year. The 2016 edition began on Sunday, November 28th, 2015 (the first Sunday of Advent) and will end December 31, 2016. The 2017 liturgical edition will be available in September and will begin on Sunday, November 27, 2016 (the first Sunday of Advent).
Our academic year editions follow the dates of the academic calendar. They are 12 month planners ranging from August through July. The 2016 | 2017 academic year edition is available now. It is available BOUND or UNBOUND, in Fresh Mint Green and Earl Grey. The 2016 | 2017 academic year edition began August 1, 2016 (in the season of Ordinary Time) and will end in July 2017.
These daily planners feature 8 pages per week, including 1 page for each day and an additional weekly planning page with a weekly reflect and reset practice based on the prayer of examen.
We're working to find both brick-and-mortar and online retailer partners to make our products available across the US and the world. If you'd like to see our products in a specific bookstore or shop, please let us (and them!) know. We're especially interested in finding a partner in Canada, the UK/Europe, and Australia/New Zealand.
We are thrilled to ship to the US and around the world. We offer Media Mail and Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service. All orders are processed in the order they were received. All USPS shipping fees are based on our costs to ship to you, and may shift ever-so-slightly from day-to-day, as they update in real time. First Class International shipping prices range from $25-$40 USD and depend on the destination. We understand international shipping is a bit more expensive. With higher volume, we hope to offer better rates and use international distribution partners.
Digital products are automatically sent by email shortly after you place your order. Physical products are shipped within 1-2 business days. Most orders are shipped within half a day of being received, as we take 1 shipment to the post office each day mid-morning and another just before it closes. You'll receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.
Because our orders ship so quickly, it's unlikely that we'll be able to change your information before your order is processed and shipped. For that reason, please verify your shipping address at checkout before submitting your order. If you find an error, contact us as soon as possible and we will try our hardest to make corrections before the order goes out. We try to check out emails for any shipping-related updates before printing labels.
We do our best to describe and depict each product with great care and detail. For that reason we created the FREE Essentials Workbook to give you a closer look at the design of our planner. The Essentials Workbook will help you evaluate if our product is a good fit for you before you spend any money. Our planner isn't a perfect fit for everyone, though. We haven't set out to be. It's not possible! That said, let us know if you find an issue and we will do our best to make it right.

We originally offered a PDF version when we first launched our planner on Kickstarter. And, we continue to receive requests for a PDF version for several reasons:
1) "I prefer a digital format over a physical planner"
We designed the Sacred Ordinary Days planner to be written in, prayed with, and referred back to. We are paper people who like holding physical products in our hands. We believe that with its current layout, our planner will serve you best in its printed form, as opposed to a digital form that lives on a computer screen. However, we live in a digital world, and we haven’t given up on digital products! We love them when they're done well, and our goal is to do everything well. We hope to be able to offer a beautiful, dynamic, responsive app someday in the future, but until then we do not feel that a PDF is the best solution for this. In fact, we've found that purely digital planning and scheduling often contributes to the very problems our planner hopes to help solve. It's easy for the days to just slip away with noticing or remembering.
2) "Shipping--especially internationally--is expensive! Can you just email me a PDF so I can print it myself?"
International shipping can double the cost depending on the destination. This is one of the main reasons we originally offered a PDF. Unfortunately offering a PDF only caused more problems. Printing a 500+ page book, double sided, with the right color and size can be tricky to do at home. Taking the file to be printed elsewhere can be just as problematic. Many stores who could print the planner did not want to due to copy right issues, even with permission. The stores who would print the full planner would often charge more than the full cost of the bound planner + shipping, but the quality was lower and the user got less out of the planner. Currently, our best solution for international shipping is not to offer a PDF but to do our best to product costs with increased volume, reduce shipping costs with increased distribution, and establish international distribution partners. We hear you! We're working on it. In the meantime, find 10 local fellow tribe members and place a bulk order. The discounts for bulk orders will usually more than cover the per planner shipping cost.
3) "I love the planner but: I prefer a different binding / I want to carry fewer pages / It's a little out of my budget."
For these reasons, we found that an unbound planner would be a great solution for many of our tribe members. We pulled several planners from the production line just before they were bound. This solution offers the same high quality print in an unbound (loose leaf) format allowing many different personalized binding styles. It's cheaper than buying a PDF and having it printed, plus the quality is much, much higher. Get yours here.
