Monday of Holy Week
MONDAY OF HOLY WEEK
On this day, Jesus cleansed the Temple and cursed a fig tree for not bearing fruit. That evening, Mary anointed Jesus’ feet with expensive oil and her tears.
INVOCATION
With you, O Lord, is the well of life: and in your light we see light.

LECTIONARY FOR MONDAY OF HOLY WEEK
DAILY OFFICE
PRACTICES TO CONSIDER
- Clean a small part of your home, pruning away distractions and clutter to make space for good fruit to grow in your life; consider cleaning one small part each week through Eastertide to keep making room for more good fruit to be born
- Consider what extravagant or costly gift you might be able to place at the feet of Jesus or his Church right now
BENEDICTION
Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
